The Mix Room, Formally the Studio A Control Room is the secret weapon of The Mix Palace. Desgined by the late Tom Hidley, this room is the pinnacle of acoustic treatment. This room offers pristine audio quality, allowing for mixes and masters to be taken to a professional level. Additionally, outboard Pultec EQs, Urei compressors, and more can be found lining the walls, all used for mastering and processing.

THE MIX ROOM
Equipped with vintage SSL & Neve preamps, a selection of vintage microphones, and a Studer A820 24 track tape machine, Studio A has all you need to make a professional record.
Notable artists who have tracked in our live room include: Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, the Ramones & Joan Jett!
The large 35' x 25' live room, also designed by Tom Hidley, has accommodated orchestras, jazz ensembles, and rock bands. Our 1979 Gretsch kit along with our selection of vintage amplifiers provide you with all you need to make a hit. No matter the project, our live room will deliver exemplary results.
STUDIO A


STUDIO B
Studio B, also known as "The Hip-Hop Room," is the latest addition to The Mix Palace. Renovated in 2015, it is where aspiring rappers and singers can make their voices shine. Containing a cozy isolation booth, Neve 1073 preamps, and a vintage Neumann U87, we’ll always capture the best of your vocal performance.
Also available to Studio B clients is a small lounge to sit, relax, or work on lyrics while your engineer mixes your track.
